Telstra iPhone users impacted by software issue
Today I have received advice that some iPhone users with older devices may have been impacted by a software update which has resulted in their iPhones not being able to make or receive calls, including to Triple Zero.
If you have an iPhone 8, iPhone8 Plus or iPhone X and have recently installed the iOS16.7.13 software update, please check your phone is able to make and receive calls.
Telstra is advising customers not to install the update until a fix to the software upgrade has been resolved.
If you are impacted by this issue, please ensure you take steps to find an alternative way to communicate with family, friends or emergency services.
Once again, I am giving the public service announcement on an important issue impacting the safety of our citizens when it should be the Albanese Labor Government.Â
