My first speech competition
Iโm excited to announce that students in years 10 to 12 here in the Lindsay Electorate can enter the First Speech Competition.
It allows for senior High School students to imagine themselves as a newly elected MP, writing a 90 second speech ๐and recording themselves presenting it on video ๐น.
This allows for the future leaders here in Lindsay to raise their voice on local and national issues they find important to highlight. I encourage our senior students to enter by submitting their 90 second video to https://www.aph.gov.au/myfirstspeech by Friday the 11th of August.
