LIBERALS COMMIT TO ASH ROAD SPORTING COMPLEX UPGRADE

An elected Dutton Liberal Government has committed to delivering $2.4 million in facility upgrades at the Ash Road Sporting Complex in Prestons – home of the Liverpool City Robbins Football Club.

Liberal candidate for Werriwa, Sam Kayal, secured this commitment to ensure local athletes, families, and sporting clubs have access to high-quality, modern facilities that can be used year-round.

“This commitment to upgrade the pitch to a synthetic surface is a major win and will ensure the Ash Road Sporting Complex in Prestons remains a first-class facility in any weather,” Mr Kayal said.

“The commitment for Ash Road will give our athletes, across a number of sports, the top local facilities they need and deserve in the years to come.”

“Thanks to Sam Kayal for championing this project and committing to our community getting the support it needs,” Liverpool Robbins City Football Club President, Dion Williamson, said.

Shadow Treasurer, Angus Taylor, praised Sam Kayal for his strong advocacy for the Prestons community and welcomed the investment.

“Sam’s dedication to his local community is outstanding and this commitment to upgrade the Ash Road Sporting Complex is a testament to his hard work in fighting for better facilities,” Mr Taylor said.

Shadow Minister for Communications and Shadow Minister for Western Sydney, Melissa McIntosh, said sporting clubs allow our kids to learn teamwork and become the next generation of superstars.

“Sam is a fighter for the Southwest in Werriwa and this upgrade will only advance the ability of the Liverpool City Robbins to win championships across all ages and grades.”
