MEDIA STATEMENT

Today, I have been appointed by Opposition Leader Sussan Ley as the Shadow Minister for Communications and Shadow Minister for Women.

I am delighted to be part of the Coalition’s Shadow Cabinet team, and will work hard to ensure the policies within these two important portfolio areas benefit the Australian community, and make our country stronger and safer.

Regarding Communications, I am proud it was the Coalition which brought forward policies in the previous term of parliament to protect Australian children online, and families from gambling harm.

As Shadow Minister for Women, I look forward to working with my female colleagues across the Opposition, within our Liberal Party, and most importantly with Australian women in our communities.
